Dua lipa is a British artist and singer who was born on the 22nd of August 1995 in London. In 2014, following a career as a model and actress she was signed to Warner Bros Records. She released her debut self-titled album in the year 2017. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number three in the U.K. Albums Chart and released eight singles, including Be the One I.D.G.A.F and her U.K. number-one single New Rules which peaked at number sixth in the United States. Lipa received the Brit Award in 2018 as British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Her album is recognized as platinum in several countries.
