She has a sister named Haylie Duff, is their youngest sister. Hilary was determined to be like Haylie, and she began travelling with Haylie Duff in the Cecchetti Ballet. Although the actress loved to dance, her love was behind the camera. Hilary began her professional career as an actor shortly following.
