Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Most well-known is her role as anchorperson on the CNN's At This Hour morning show. Her previous roles included co-host on the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan participated in CNN's award-winning coverage of presidential elections 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. She also worked as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan, as member of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congressional cycles as well as congress activities, including talks to increase the loan limit for federal government as well as the Super Committee's deliberations. Her work on general assignments has included stories regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. The journalist was hired by CNN at the end of 2007 and was a national correspondent with CNN Newsource. She worked as a CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and feature reporting to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
