Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of her game with her electronic pop music after getting the attention of the world through her hit songs "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. With her unique soprano warble and knack for composing engaging, but emotionally honest tracks, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap, stands at the forefront of the current mainstream and an independent, artistic pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogs to print media, garnering recognition from major publications such as The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. Polydor Records offered her a deal as major label. She began to prepare for her release.
